If you are an avid cook, then the fully equipped kitchen provides you with ample opportunities to be creative. If you aren’t then there is plenty of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. Fancy a cup of coffee, tea, or fruit? You will find it in the kitchen.
COMMUNAL AREA
The communal area, with its South African midcentury modern design, combines comfort and style making it an ideal space for dialogue. A multitude of seating opportunities gives you a chance to engage with others, to relax, to read, or to enjoy a meal.
On cold days the gas fireplace could heat up the room, and on hot days the concrete floor will cool the area. The downstairs area also serves as a gallery featuring the works of local artists and it will be open to the public for a few hours once a week.
OUTDOOR SPACE
The large terrace, the various plants and trees, flowers, and the beautiful calls for prayer from the mosque, which is near the house, creates an oasis of serenity and calmness. The outdoor seating areas provide you with the opportunity to either start your day refreshed by having breakfast outdoors, daydreaming during the day or ending the day with a glass of wine listening to the sounds of Bo-Kaap. The plunge pool cools you off on a hot day and on a cold day it could prepare you for the various tidal pools in the ocean. You might want to take your chance! It is amazing.
